HOW TO GET THE HOSTALMARTIN FROM
MADRID AIRPORT.
When you arrive at Barajas Airport there
are a number of ways to get the Hostal into the centre of the city:
METRO: This is the
cheapest option as a metro ticket costs around 1.20 €. The station is in
Terminal 2 . For those who arrive at Terminal 1 you have to walk to the station.
On the Metro map you will see that you need to change
twice to arrive at
Antón Martín on Line 1 ( Blue ), way out " Plaza Antón Martín " – this station
is only a few minutes walk from the Hostal.
BUS: There is a
regular bus service from the airport to Plaza de Colón.This costs
around 4.0. From Colón you can take a short taxi ride, or a 20 min walk to
the Hostal, or also by Metro from Colon Metro Station on Line 4,
( Brown )
to Antón Martín Metro Station on Line 1 (Blue Line)
TAXI: From the airport
to the Hostal should cost around 25 €. depending onthe time of day and the
amount of luggage. This is the easiest option. Most taxi drivers are honest but
occasionally they ask tourists for too muchmoney. The fare from the airport
should be indicated on a sign inside the taxi, so if in doubt ask them to show
you the sign. Don´t forget that, all
Tax and extra charges ( Airport Tax,
luggages,... etc. ) will be indicated at the back window.
